Belgrade-based company for production of fireproof roofs and facades "Trimo inženjering" has announced that it will soon start production of new insulation sandwich panels for the needs of food, pharmaceutical and biotechnical industry.

- We are going to start production of sandwich panels with polyurethane filling, and projected production of that new type of panels amounts to about 30% of previous annual production of fireproof panels on the line, of which annual capacity exceeds 1 million square meters - said Damir Kočan, the CEO of that company.

He pointed out that, although polyurethane panels were already present in Serbian market, the new product by "Trimo", as well as the panels with mineral wool fillings manufactured by "Trimo inženjering", were the only locally produced panels with the certificate of harmonization with European standard EN 14509:2006.

- That means that both production and products meet European standard that determines the requests for industrial production of roof and facade sandwich panels, which means that they are safe for humane use - said Kočan.

According to his words, "Trimo's" products made in Serbia will meet the conditions for export to the market of European Union, although the plan is that they first be exported to the markets of countries in Southeastern Europe.
