Krusik Valjevo has record-breaking exports of USD 109 million in anniversary year

Krusik has been on the constant rise since its foundation, when it was called Vistad, and is now a symbol of Serbia’s defense industry.

Neither sanctions nor the bombing managed to destroy the factory. With significant help from the state, Krusik has become an even more powerful company which produces modern military equipment and arms, it was pointed out at the ceremony.

Recently, Krusik has had its best results. It invested EUR 35 million in the expansion of the missile and mortar production program. The company is dedicated to conquering the global market.

– To us workers, the most important thing is to have steady jobs – Branko Jankovic points out. – Krusik has contracted jobs for the next few years, so we’re not afraid for our jobs.

Aleksandar Obucina says that they operate high-tech machines. – The factory has been modernized to a great extent in the past few years, it has progressed.

Krusik has record-breaking exports of USD 109,000,000 in the year of its 80th anniversary. New missile and mortar products have enabled a turnaround in their business. They are sold in seventy countries so far, and the biggest clients are the United States of America and the countries of the Middle East.

– What I can say and what’s certainly encouraging is that we have USD 126 million in contracted jobs for 2019 – says the director of Krusik, Vladan Lukic. – And the contracts are still being signed, which means that our operations over the next two years are secured, which is good for the employees and the entire city and its area.

The average salary in Krusik, which employs 3,200 workers, is around RSD 52,000. New jobs are created without state subsidies. In addition to the factory of military products, it also has factories of hunting ammunition and car batteries.
