IEEG from Stara Pazova first company in Serbia to develop electric car chargers

IEEG based in Stara Pazova is the first company in Serbia to develop the production of electric car chargers and the prototype of this device was presented at the International Car Show in Belgrade. IEEG is in the process of developing electric cars whereas the first car charger would be installed in Stara Pazova in a few months , announce d the founder of the company, Slavko Vujovic.

– Electric car charger are the greatest innovation in the world consider they could replace gasoline and diesel fuel. The energy would be transferred tot he car batteries but the technology could be used in other industries as well, Vujovic explained and added that the chargers could also be used for charging with renewable energy.

He said that both in Serbia and the region there was a significant delay in development of electromobility and the main problem being that national economies and economic system have no incentives whatsoever for that particular area.

When it comes to developing electric cars, Vujovic said that IEEG presented their electric car concept at the Belgrade Car Show.

– Our showcased electric car has been developed on our platform chassis and we make progress because we have at our disposal the components we ourselves developed, Vujovic said and added that the company was currently compiling all necessary documentation for installing the first public electric car charger in Stara Pazova.
