First Wine Garden at Botanical Garden on June 15-16

A new event will be held in mid-June at the Botanical Garden, called Wine Garden. The Botanical Garden will host one such attractive event for the first time.

In line with the environment and the atmosphere this wonderful green oasis provides in the summer, on June 15-16, Wine Garden will bring the carnival spirit of the Palic Wine Marathon, concerts, top quality wines, select cheeses, winemaking workshops, barrel-rolling races and other fun events, accompanied with music and gastronomic specialties, to the heart of Belgrade.

The Botanic Garden will be open for all visitors between 2 pm and 10 pm. Top quality wines, available for free tasting until 7 pm, will be showcased in the central part of the garden. Select cheeses and other tasty food will also be served, and the event will also feature interesting wine workshops, movie promotions, announcements and many other fun programs.

Concerts are scheduled for the evening. Lena Kovacevic will perform on Saturday, June 15, at 8 pm, whereas the program for Sunday, June 16, includes a concert by the increasingly popular Balkan-soul musician Marko Louis, also at 8 pm.
