Mayor of Novi Sad Milos Vucevic said that four companies that had bought the documentation had answered the public call for the concession of Apoteke Novi Sad.

As he pointed out, a bid was made that, according to initial estimates, is “absolutely valid”, coming from the BENU pharma brand, owned by Germany’s Phoenix, and worth EUR 4,238,753, that is, EUR 362,375 more than the initial price for the 15-year concession set by the City.

– We are very proud that Novi Sad is the first city in Serbia to truly solve the problem of state pharmacies strategically. We have received approval by the state Commission for Public-Private Partnerships and Concessions and our project is a true example for other municipalities how to solve the problem of a state pharmacy through a concession. We are happy that such a renowned global company is coming here, and I do believe that the employees in these pharmacies are happy too, as they know that they will have a stable employer which complies with all the regulations and collective contracts – Vucevic said at a press conference.
