"Sirogojno Company" to open new fruit drying factory at end of August

- In village Rupeljevo near Požega, a modern fruit drying factory will be put in operation at the end of August. Company "Sirogojno" has invested about 1m EUR in construction of that factory - said Rade Ljubojević, the CEO and the owner of that company.

The newly built fruit drying and canning factory, which occupies the surface of about 1,000 square meters, will have state-of-the-arts equipment from the USA and European countries at its disposal. According to the words of its owner, the factory will be operating by the technology that is based on the combination of "experience and knowledge of fruit-growers from our past and recommendations of nutritional experts".

- The signed pre-contracts with the number of buyers in the USA, Japan and Europe represent the guarantee that broad spectrum of dried fruits from the unit in Rupeljevo - raspberry, blackberry, apple, cranberry, bramble and other fruits - will soon be offered to the global market in small packaging for retail trade, as well as for use in food and confectionery industry - Ljubojević pointed out.

Company "Sirogojno" has purchased about 5,000 tons of raspberry, cherry, blackberry, cranberry and other fruits this year, and these fruits will soon be frozen and offered to the markets in large number of countries.
