Exploitation permits in Belgrade to be issued only to investors that dispose of construction waste at Vinca

In order to get an exploitation permit, investors will have to prove that each cubic meter of construction waste was disposed of at Vinca, in an attempt to regulate this field, said Deputy Mayor of Vinca Goran Vesic.

– Most illegal landfills are a consequence of the fact that each investor disposes of construction waste wherever they find the most convenient. The City of Belgrade will therefore change some of its decisions. We will require the investor to submit proof of where the waste was disposed of before issuing an exploitation permit. All waste will have to be sent to the Vinca landfill. This is an attempt to regulate this field – Vesic said, as reported by Beoinfo.

He added that the problem of municipal waste must be solved the same way.

– Unfortunately, there are many illegal landfills full of municipal and construction waste in Belgrade, and this is something that we will have to address as a city – the deputy mayor emphasized.
