At today's meeting of the Joint Group for Improving Serbia's Position on the Doing Business List, which was attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, the realization of measures for improving the country's position on the World' Bank's list ranking the conditions of doing business was analyzed.

– The biggest problem is with the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction of the City of Belgrade, which needs to be much more efficient, as the speed of issuing building permits in the capital of Serbia especially reflects on the country' Doing Business rating – said Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, who presided over the meeting.

The realization of measures from the Action Plan for Improving Serbia's Position on the Doing Business List was discussed at the meeting, where it was determined that the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Mining and Energy, the Republic Geodetic Authority and the Office for IT and eGovernment had realized or started realizing the agreed measures, the Ministry of Construction announced.
