Belgrade to be center of quality management in June 2020 – EOQ Quality Congress in Serbian capital after 50 years

Fifty years after the last time it took place in Belgrade, the EOQ Quality Congress will be held in the Serbian capital in 2020, EOQ Board of Directors decided, as announced by the Serbian Quality Management and Business Excellence Association (SRMEK), the organizer of the congress.

According to Dr Jovo Lojanica, president of the SRMEK Association, the participation of 600 experts from more than 50 countries in Europe and the world is planned.

– This will be a great opportunity to gather the biggest authorities from Europe, Japan, the USA and other countries in Belgrade and have them present their experiences and the latest findings in this field in front of our experts. In the upcoming period, we will carry out thorough preparations, involving local experts and companies, as well as experts and organizations from all over the world. As our big challenge, Belgrade and Serbia will be the world’s center for quality management and business excellence for two days – he said.

EOQ (European Organization for Quality) is the European umbrella organization responsible the development and management of quality, education of Quality specialists in the sphere of the environment, health safety, food safety, social responsibility, anti-corruption and many others.

Serbian Quality Management and Business Excellence Association - SRMEK Association was founded in 1997 with the same goals as EOQ (and EFQM). SRMEK is Serbia`s national representative both in EOQ and EFQM.
