– At the end of the visit of a delegation of Rosselkhoznadzor to North Macedonia and Serbia and after examining the information submitted by the competent institutions of the said states, Rosselkhoznadzor allows the import of cultures under the TN VED EAES 0809 (apricots, peaches, cherries, sour cherries and blueberries) from those states to the territory of Russia beginning with May 27, 2019 – the press release says.
In August 2018, Rosselkhoznadzor implemented a temporary limitation on the import of apricots, peaches, cherries, sour cherries and blueberries from Serbia and North Macedonia. The decision was reached due to the detection of Monilinia in the fruit.
