Construction of final section of traffic route from Kragujevac to Corridor 10 to begin – Works officially to start on July 1

The works on the construction of the final section of a modern four-lane traffic route that should connect Kragujevac with Corridor 10 have begun, Preduzece za puteve (PZP) Kragujevac confirmed for the Danas daily.

The preparatory works began near Motel Kosuta. The section, which passes through the Batocina settlement, is around five kilometers long.

– We have started carrying out works under one project, but there are now requests for the toll booth to be expanded, which is why new project documentation is being prepared. As the competent ministry said, the works under the new project will officially begin on July 1 – said the director of PZP Kragujevac, Ljubisa Zivkovic.

So far, around 20 kilometers of the traffic route from Kragujevac to the entrance to Batocina have been built, and this section opened for traffic in October 2017.

The final section should be completed by the end of the year.
