American-Belgian company Adient to begin raising factory in Loznica – Investment of EUR 20 million and jobs for 700 people

The American-Belgian company Adient starts building a facility in Loznica on May 31. The factory will produce car seat covers.

The city has let the company use a 4.3-ha parcel in the Sepak industrial zone for free. The facility, in which EUR 20 million was invested, will be raised there.

Adient employs around 380 workers in Banja Koviljaca, and the factory in Loznica is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Initially, 700 people are supposed to work there, and the number should double later on.

Adient is a global leader in the production of car seats, with around 85,000 employees at 238 facilities in 34 countries.
