NIS a.d. Novi Sad put in operation

According to the decision of the Government of Republic of Serbia, Stock company for research, production, processing, distribution and sale of oil and oil derivatives and research and production of natural gas Petroleum Industry of Serbia Novi Sad is put into operation, which marks end of successfully completed first phase of restructuring of public company NIS-Petroleum Industry of Serbia. NIS a.d. that employs 13,900 workers is made of: NIS-Naftagas, NIS-Petrol (it unites NIS-Oil Refinery Pančevo, NIS-Oil REfinery Novi Sad, NIS-Jugopetrol and NIS-Naftagas promet), NIS-TNG (parts of NIS-Gas, NIS-Energogas and NIS-Jugopetrol) and NIS-Ugostiteljstvo i turizam (catering facilities, restaurants and hotels of all former parts of the Company).
