Rajko Mitic stadium to feature solar panels? – Three winning solutions for the future look of Red Star's home presented

A large number of projects for the reconstruction of the Rajko Mitic stadium were submitted, and the authors of the three best ones, chosen among the 17 solutions submitted, have been awarded.

Two works which include a race track and one that doesn't have met the commission's criteria, which included, cost-effectiveness, sustainability (one solution features solar panels), the feasibility of realization, but also fitting the stadium in the current urban environment, it is said on the website of Red Star Belgrade.

The awarded authors, Zarko Cajic, the Italfer team and the duo of Milos Stankovic and Marko Berkes, expressed their happiness with having their solutions chosen.

The winning solutions were presented in a new TV show on Zvezda TV.
