Free Zone Novi Sad has a very favorable geographical position. We are situated on the crossroads of the Western and Eastern Europe on the Rhine –Main –Danube water way, 100 km from the EU border.
Such a location enables good communication with the port of Bar on the Adriatic sea, port of Thessaloniki on the south east and port of Hamburg on the north of Europe.
We are located on the E-75 motorway, international railroad network Vienna-Budapest- Belgrade, as well as within the international port complex on the Danube.
The distance from the international airport in Belgrade is just 70 km.
Facilities of the Free Zone Novi Sad are located in the port complex on the Danube where all the wholesale centers are situated, and within the zone there is customs outpost, which makes it easier for all the customs clearance operations to be done quickly and at one place.

Free Zone Novi Sad has at its disposal the construction land on three locations, approx. 7.5 ha in total.
Storage space
Free Zone Novi Sad has at its disposal 9.500 m2 of closed storage space, which encompasses two facilities, within which we offer production-storage space, as well as collective and wall unit storages.
Open storage space - 6.500 m2 is convenient for storing agricultural machinery and vehicles. Within the open warehouse, there is covered space for goods that doesn’t need any special storing conditions in the closed warehouse.
Office space
Users are offered tenancy of office space inside the storage capacities as well as completely furnished offices in the business section of the facilities with the secured parking lots.
Supporting services
- Loading and unloading department (In the Free Zone Novi Sad, users have at their disposal a special service for handling the goods - unloading, loading, reloading and rearranging the goods in the warehouses. The department is equipped with all kinds of forklifts of different lifting power and qualified for handling various kinds of goods.)
- Department for gate-record keeping secures the Zone and keeps record of entering and exiting of vehicles and people.
- Warehousing department provides services related to warehousing.
- Professional security department takes care of the security of the facilities and goods, 24 h a day.
Incentives for free zone users
Free Zone offers stimulations regarding operating with tax and customs relieves, as well as simplified administrative procedures.
Registering a foreign or domestic company as the free zone user is done in accordance with the Contract on performing business activities in the free zone which is signed with the free zone operator based on the written request.
Customs regulations
In the free zone customs duty is not liable for:
* Goods
* Raw material used in production
* Equipment used for operating
* Material for building and equipping the facilities
There is no time limitation in keeping the goods in the free zone.
Goods from the free zone can be temporarily taken out of the zone to the other part of the Serbian territory or brought in the zone for the purpose of refinement, finishing, repairs, testing and marketing presentations.
Foreign trade regulations
Import and export of goods and services in the free zone are unrestricted and no quantitative limitations are applied. No commercial politics regulations of the country are applied in the free zone.
Tax regulations
* Goods an services in the free zone are VAT exempt
* 10% corporate profit tax rate – lowest in Europe
TAX Holiday:
For the investments over 600 mil Serbian dinars and 100 newly employed workers on an indefinite contract
* Tax stimuli for employment
* Tax credit for investing in fixed assets
