Cherry stones for heating - new burner for biomass
Very few people believed Mechanical Engineer Branislav Prohaska, the owner and CEO of Zrenjanin-based company "CE-HID", when he and his associate Miodrag Cvejin went to Pančevo and explained to the people from local cold storage plant that he was buying cherry stones to use them as fuel for heating his house.
Branislav was much more convincing at the booth of his company at recently held trade fair of innovations "Inokop" in Zrenjanin. He exhibited automatic burner for biomass that was made in Italy, and production of such burners should soon start in the city on the Begej as well. The burner is using palettes that can be made of wooden sawdust, hay, corn, old paper, as well as cherry-stones.
Explaining how the burner is functioning, Prohaska and Cvejin say that it is mounted on the installed boiler, that is, heating system. It has a microprocessor that consists of appropriate sounds, and it sends necessary information to the computer. Consumption of energy is minimal since the burner consumes as much energy as a single bulb. Unlike coal, cherry-stones produce only 1% of ash.
- The machine that we have imported from Italy costs 1,000 EUR and it pays off in no time. Italian partner is interested in cooperation, and it is willing to provide us the production for Serbian market - Prohaska and Cvejin pointed out.
