Reconstruction of General Hospital in Vranje, tenders by end-2019 – Works worth EUR 6.2 million

The designers and the Office for Public Investment Management have harmonized their positions on the reconstruction of the old pavilion section of the General Hospital in Vranje, said Mayor Slobodan Milenkovic.

– The problem which arose due to the two sides' dispute about the mechanical part of the reconstruction, pertaining to the reconstruction of elevators and the central gas system, has been overcome.

The documents are at the Office for Public Investment Management and I hope that we will soon sign an agreement on the reconstruction worth EUR 6.2 million – Milenkovic said.

He said that he expected the entire public procedure to be completed in 2019, Vranjenews.rs reports.

– I hope that the works will start this autumn or in the spring of 2020 at the latest.

Considering that these are primarily works that will be carried out in closed spaces, it's realistic to expect them to continue being carried out in the winter as well – Milenkovic said.

The reconstruction of the pavilion section of the old hospital in Vranje should be realized within the project of the Government of Serbia called “One billion for infrastructure in healthcare”.
