Bosman to build two logistics centers worth BAM 8 million in Hadzici – Facilities for DB Schenker and Express One to be completed in late 2019

(Express One logistics center) Bosman Sarajevo has started building two large logistics centers in Industrial Zone Boce in Hadzici worth around BAM 8 million. As they told eKapija, the centers are being built for two companies from the EU.

– After the successful building of the facilities for companies DHL, Teknoxgroup BH and MC Bauchemie, two new ones are to follow – for DB Schenker and Express One. These kinds of logistics centers have not yet been seen in these areas, featuring modern equipment and a modern look. The logistics centers will be located next to each other – the director of Bosman, Sunija Jahic, added for eKapija.

Both facilities are located on an area of 20,000 m2 in the center of the industrial zone.

– The logistics center of DB Schenker will have a storage area of around 4,000 m2 and an office area of 600 m2, as well as a total of 8,000 m2 of maneuvering space with parking spots and green areas. The logistics center of the Austrian post service Express One features storage and office space of around 3,000 m2, as well as maneuvering space with parking spots and green areas of 8,000 m2.

Jahic points out that, if everything goes as planned, the works should be completed in late 2019, when the opening ceremony for both logistics centers will be organized as well.

First recycling of construction waste in B&H

Bosman is currently working on several large projects, such as the construction of the roundabout in Vogosca, the works on the Trebevic gondola, the reconstruction of Stara Pruga Osik Street, the repairing of the railway on the Zavidovici-Kakanj route, the construction of the children's playground and the sports court with the accompanying features at the Sports Center Safet Zajko, the development of the exterior of Robot and Begex facilities in Hadzici and many others.

– At the same time, a project for the recycling of construction waste, the first of its kind in B&H, has been initiated. The management took this step after they determined that construction waste was not being processed optimally when it comes to the well-being of people and the environment, leading to the creation of illegal landfills, which are getting larger and larger each day. Bosman will be the first company in B&H to get the necessary equipment and initiate the process of recycling construction waste – Jahic added for eKapija.
