Valuer being sought for “the rest” of Zelezara Smederevo

The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency has opened a call for the submission of offers for the execution of services of the valuation of the liquidity of individual pieces of property of Zelezara Smederevo doo in bankruptcy.

This is the legal entity that was “left over” and continued to exist once China's Hesteel, that is, HBIS Group, bought 98 property lots of the Smederevo steel mill for EUR 46 million in April 2016.

This January, this legal entity, the former company Zelezara Smederevo doo, went into bankruptcy.

The task of the future valuer will be to determine the value of five facilities, spare parts and the company's share in the Zagreb-based company Dalekovod dd, in line with international standards.

According to the most recent data available, HBIS Group is the biggest exporter from Serbia, with exports worth EUR 313.2 million.
