Italian company Pizzarotti interested in building Bar-Boljare highway section

Representatives of the Italian company Pizzarotti have announced that they hope that the Government of Montenegro will pick them to realize the remaining sections of the Bar-Boljare highway.

They presented their experience on similar projects to the Montenegrin Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, Osman Nurkovic, who said that “no one will be favored in this game”, RTCG reports.

Nurkovic introduced the guests to the current activities regarding the realization of the remaining sections of the Bar-Boljare highway and added that everyone interested was welcome to propose the conditions and the models for the realization of the remaining sections of the Bar-Boljare highway, on the principles of a public-private partnership.

– No one will be favored in this game, and the price and the deadlines, as well as the quality of the work, the experience and the references will be the only criteria we will rate as an investor, in a transparent procedure of choosing the contractor for the continuation of the construction of the highway – Nurkovic pointed out.
