"Mercator" started construction of trade center in Senta - 7m EUR worth of investment

Market chain "Mercator" has started construction of trade center in an attractive location in the center of Senta. New "Roda Center", as the people from company "Mercator" explained to "eKapija", will occupy the surface of 7,700 square meters and, in addition to a supermarket, "Roda centar" will offer large assortment of domestic and foreign brands of textile, footwear, clothing, and toys in rented stores.

As it was explained, all visitors of "Roda Center" will have over 60 parking places at their disposal.

"Mercator-S" is going to invest about 7m EUR in the facility in Senta. Construction should be finished by the end of year 2009, and about 100 people will get jobs once the facility is built.

- "Mercator-S" planned to invest about 30m EUR this year. We have already opened "Roda Center" in Šabac and employed 350 people this year, and we are going to open "Roda Center" in Sombor and employ about 100 new workers by the end of the year - people from company "Mercator-S" told "eKapija".
