“Frozen” has held the record as the highest-grossing animated film for the past six years but now it's time for it to hand that title over to “The Lion King”.

New live0action remake of the cult animated movie earned USD 1.334 billion whereas “Frozen”
grossed USD 1,276 billion, Box Office Mojo reports.

The reimagining of one of the beloved Disney cartoon classics from 1994 has meet favorable reviews and positive audience reactions, who flocked to cinemas to see some of their favorite characters.
