Construction of tourist-recreation center and marina on Perućac lake -cross-border cooperation between Bajina Bašta and Srebrenica

Municipalities of Bajina Bašta and Srebrenica will implement a cross-border cooperation project for refurbishment of tourist potentials of their territories. The plan is that several contents, which will contribute to development of lake tourism, be built on the banks of the Perućac lake.

About 1.8m EUR have been set aside from the funds of European community for the cross-border cooperation between aforementioned municipalities.

Miloš Vukosavljević, the Head of the Department of Economy and Development in the municipality of Srebrenica, said that the project was in connection with the construction of tourist-recreation center on the left bank of the Drina and the Perućac lake, in Klotjevac.

Bajina Bašta has "leaned" the project against National Park Tara, but the marina will be built on the Perućac lake.
