The competitions is open to to all domestic and foreign beekeepers who submit their honey samples. The honey must have been harvested in 2019, must not be crystalized and moisture content of honey must be below 20%.
Out of every sample three subsamples must be sent in in 450 mg glass jars. Jars should only be labeled with the type of honey while all other information is provided in the application form, Poljoprivrednik portal reports.
The results will be published on the cluster's site by October 15, 2019 and then presented at the Tourism Fair in Novi Sad as a part of the Pcelarski Sokak event, whereas the winner announcement and award ceremony is planned for October 16, 2019 on the World Food Day in the Institute for Food Technology.
All remaining honey after the analysis will be donated to charity.
