"Brantner Waste Economy" to maintain hygiene in Kanjiža – 1m EUR to be invested in new vehicles and equipment
"Brantner Waste Economy", a part of Austrian group "Brantner", will take over the works on maintenance of hygiene in the municipality of Kanjiža tomorrow (October 1st, 2009), which is the job that this company already does in the municipalities of Novi Bečej, Kovačica and Opovo.
The contract on allotment of works on period of 20 years has been signed by the Mayor of Kanjiža, Mihalj Njilaš, and the CEO of "Brantner Waste Economy" from Novi Bečej, Saša Mirosavljev.
These works in the municipality of Kanjiža have, so far, been carried out by public company "Komunalac", from which "Brantner Waste Economy" will take over employees and invest in new vehicles and equipment. Removal of illegal dumps is in the pipeline, which will required total investments of about 1m EUR.
Njilaš is of the opinion that the good choice has been made and that it is significant that it concerns the whole territory of the municipality. So far, trash has been collected from the territory of Kanjiža, Horgoš and Adorjan, while "Brantner Waste Economy" will now expand the activities to the territories of all 13 settlements in the municipality.
"Brantner" Group has 53 companies and over 3,000 employees in eight countries of Europe. It also owns 720 trucks and working machines, seven factories for trash selecting, eight factories for biogenous matters, and 15 scrapyards.
