All flights of "Jat" canceled until further notice
Serbian national air transportation company "Jat Airways" announced that all flights were canceled until further notice, and that the passengers would be informed on everything on regular basis.
According to the announcement, "Jat Airways" is doing everything it can to overcome the consequences of the strike by “Jat tehnika” and make it possible for the airplanes to take off as soon as possible.
It is added in the announcement that "Jat Airways" has provided a charter flight to Donjeck on airplane "Aviogenex", which has its own licensed mechanic, and the same airplane will transport passengers to Moscow.
Passengers on all other lines will be transported on first available flights to the desired destinations.
Airplane “Tunis Air” transported the passengers on the last night’s flight to Monastir. The passengers from the flights to Sarajevo, Skopje and Salonika are enabled to take the tickets of other airliners or to be accommodated in hotels in Belgrade.
According to standard procedures of the global air transportation companies, "Jat Airways" will enable transportation of passengers on the next flight of "Jat Airways". In case it is not possible, the passenger will be able to choose if he wants to fly with some other company with which “Jat Airways” has contract or to have the money returned to him.
The passengers who passed the check and are still in transit will get hotel accommodation, while “Jat Airways” will not be able to cover the costs of the hotel accommodation, meal and transportation between the airport and hotel for local passengers and the passengers who have not passed the check.
