Giant among diamonds!
A diamond the size of a chicken egg was discovered last week at South Africa's Cullinan mine.
Petra Diamonds said the 507.55-carat white diamond has exceptional color and clarity. It is considered to be amongst the Top 20 largest high-quality rough diamonds ever found
The mine where the huge diamond was found also produced the largest diamond ever discovered -- the famous 3,106-carat Cullinan Diamond found in 1905.
It has also produced two more of the world's largest diamonds -- the Golden Jubilee at 755 carats rough and the Centenary at 599 carats rough.
So far, no value has been given for the white diamond, which weighs just over 100 grams.
