Ministry of Environmental Protection approves Nis-Plocnik highway project

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Study pertaining to the E-80 highway, Nis-Plocnik section, project, whose carrier is the company Corridors of Serbia, as announced on the ministry's website.

During the public discussion, the study was up for public review, a presentation was organized and there were no complaints made by the interested public, and representatives of the municipalities of Prokuplje, Merosina and Kursumlija made no objections either, it is said in the explanation of the ministry's decision.

During the deliberation on the study, the technical commission made 70 remarks, which were addressed in the meantime, and the “green” study was consequently approved.
