Annual Assembly of World Bank and IMF to start on October 6, 2009, in Istanbul
The two-day annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will start tomorrow in Istanbul, and it will be attended by the delegation of Serbia.
It has been announced that the members of Serbian delegation in Istanbul will speak to the representatives of IMF about preparation of the Government's measures for the forthcoming audit of the credit stand-by arrangement worth 2.9 billion EUR, which will start on October 20th in Belgrade.
The delegation of Serbia includes the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy, Mlađan Dinkić, the Minister of Finance, Diana Dragutinović, the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), Radovan Jelašić, and the Vice Governor of NBS, Ana Gligorijević.
During his stay in Turkey, Dinkić will have meetings with Turkish officials and entrepreneurs, and he will speak today at round table "Return to Business" about the measures that the Government of Serbia has introduced to alleviate the effects of the global economic crisis.
