The director of the Republic Geodetic Authority, Borko Draskovic, and the deputy mayor of Cacak, Milica Dacic, signed an agreement in Belgrade pertaining to cooperation aiming to provide support to the RGA in establishing the National Register of Investment Maps (NRIM), to strengthen the capacities of the selected pilot local self-government units and to stimulate economic development.

The establishment of the NRIM will be carried out through the project “Improvement of the Business Climate in Serbia”, which is being realized by the RGA and ten pilot local self-government units and financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Moravainfo reports.

The end result of the project is for the register to be easily available to all citizens and potential local and foreign investors with accurate and reliable data.

The project worth over EUR 2 million should be realized over the next two years.

The project was prepared after the successful realization of the pilot project realized by the RGA with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure for the urban areas of Kikinda and Vladicin Han, whose investment maps have already been uploaded to the GeoSrbija digital platform.
