"Futura plus" facing bankruptcy
The Court of Commerce in Belgrade has started pre-bankruptcy proceedings against press distribution company "Futura plus" at the suggestion of the Administration of Public Revenues.
- Budimir Mrdović has been appointed as temporary bankruptcy manager - Stevo Đuranović, the President of the Court of Commerce, told "Novosti".
According to his words, the account of "Futura plus" is blocked because of the debt of 900m RSD.
Due to large debts, the largest newspaper companies, members of the Association of Media, stopped selling their publications through "Futura plus" on September 15th.
"Futura plus" was created through merger of the distribution chains of "Duvan", "Borba" and "Duvan promet", and its owner is Stanko Subotić.
