Turkish company Kalyon interested in building Vozd Karadjordje highway

Representatives of the Ministry of Construction of Serbia have talked with a delegation of the Turkish company Kalyon about the possibilities of cooperation on infrastructure projects in Serbia, focusing especially on the construction of high-speed traffic routes, including the Sumadija corridor Vozd Karadjordje, the ministry announced.

The state secretary at the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Miodrag Poledica, introduced the representatives of Kalyon to the experiences of the Serbian-Turkish cooperation on infrastructure projects, as well as Serbia's plans for the continuation of investments in infrastructure as part of the new investment cycle.

Kalyon representatives expressed an interest in learning more about the projects planned by Serbia, especially those pertaining to road, rail and air transport, as well as apartment building, it was announced.

Kalyon was founded in 1974 and has realized some of the largest projects in Turkey in air, road and rail transport, including the construction of a new airport in Istanbul. It currently manages projects worth a total of around EUR 30 billion.
