"Amadeus" opened Product Development Center for CESE region - support from Warsaw for 32 countries

"Amadeus", one of the leading suppliers of technological solutions in the field of travel industry, has opened the Product Development Center in Warsaw for CESE (Central, East and South Europe) region.

Amadeus's new center will be providing IT solutions in the field of travel industry, which should satisfy the needs of the agencies in CESE region, including solutions in the field of Sales & e-Commerce, consulting and business management. New technological center, completely dedicated to CESE region, will improve the sales of "Amadeus" products in the market and satisfy growing demand for "Amadeus" services in the field of information technology in the whole region. The Center will also provide additional support to technical staff in 32 countries in this strategically important region where "Amadeus" operates, from Russia to Poland, and from Estonia to Turkey.

- The travel industry in CESE region is facing new challenges that are changing the scenario, and our users have realized that the investment in information technology is the key to success on long-term basis - said Juan Antonio Carrasco, the Director for CESE region, and added that the opening of that Product Development Center represented the new foundation stone for the company's long-lasting relations with that crucial region, in which "Amadeus" had invested significant amount of money over the previous 20 years.

The Product Development Center in Warsaw will be run by Jean Marc Garzulino who gained great experience in development of products and sales in Amadeus's Development Center in Nica, as well as in similar centers in Poland.

- New technology center "Amadeus" is situated in CESE region in order to provide best service to the users in this region. We learned from our experience that bringing experts closer to the place where they are needed represents a key to success - said Jean Marc Garzulino.

CESE region includes: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
