Kragujevac-Batocina road in four lanes by late March 2020?

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic has talked to the participants in the project of the construction of the Kragujevac-Batocina road, which is important for connecting Kragujevac to the road Corridor 10.

– Every project is important for the ministry, whether big or small, because it is on the so-called small projects, such as a 5-km road section, that everyone needs to show that they are capable of working on much larger projects that we will work on as a state in the upcoming period. To us, the completion of the Kragujevac-Batocina road is just as important as the highways we are building and the sections we are modernizing – Mihajlovic said.

She pointed out that she was not satisfied with the efficiency of the works and the coordination among the participants in the project and announced that, due to that, meetings regarding the progress of the works would be held each week from that point on, it is said on the ministry's website.

– I expect the investor, the contractor and the design engineer to solve problems, to honor the contract and for the section to be completed by the end of March 2020 – Mihajlovic said.
