Fair for future in Novi Sad - fifty cities and municipalities to present few hundred investment projects
With few hundred investment projects that will be presented by about 50 cities and municipalities, backed by the government organs and active participation of referential institutions - investment and real estate fairs, Energy Fair and Building Fair in Novi Sad have ensured the leading position of the promoters of investments in Serbia and the orientation towards European development path.
- "Investexpo", of which themes essentially promote the activities related to development and progress of the state, will be organized at the Novi Sad Fair in the period between November 10 and 14 - it has been announced at the press conference.
- Investment Fair "Investexpo" at the Novi Sad Fair will be held in the year of the economic crisis, but that is the chance and the opportunity for starting new projects and realization of new works that enable positioning and gaining advantage over the others – said Goran Vasić, the Director General of the Novi Sad Fair.
Vasić points out that this year's "Investexpo" will gather more cities and municipalities than the last year, which is, primarily, result of the contribution made by the Executive Council of Vojvodina led by President Bojan Pajtić.
- Local self-governments have recognized the need for projects that should be presented and, thus, attract potential investors. This Fair is the right place for gathering all those who have something to offer and those who have capital to invest in good and quality projects – said Vasić.
The Deputy Mayor of Novi Sad, MA Saša Igić, announced that the City of Novi Sad would present its public utility infrastructure projects, which would serve as the base for attracting capital investments.
- The emphasis will be placed on the projects for completion of the Sombor Boulevard and European Boulevard, and the projects that will also be presented during the Fair are: construction of bridge on the pillars of former Franc Jozef bridge and new buildings of the City Administration in Radnička Street, organization of the Republic Square, and construction of an underground garage – Igić announced.
"Investexpo" will see the presentations of 35 municipalities and cities, as well as the Provincial secretariats of economy, local self-government and municipal cooperation, regional and international cooperation, energy and mineral raw materials and architecture, city planning and construction.
