Lukoil saved Šabac-based Ingo from crisis
Šabac-based factory for design of metal structures Ingo announced that it would end the year 2005 without losses for the first time since 2000, thanks to the cooperation with Lukoil. Since March 2005, Ingo, as one of the subcontractors, produces metal structures for gas stations for Russian oil company and it registered turnover of 18 million CSD in six months. Šabac-based company processes 100 tons of steel per month from the material provided by customer. Required amount for structure of one facility is 11 tons of processed steel. At the moment, 70% of capacities of the factory are in operation and, according to the words of director Dejan Lazarević, there will be work until March 2006.
The factory started cooperation with shipyard Bijela and it is also in the middle of negotiations with certain French company that already took samples and pro forma invoice values for the works. Šabac-based Ingo was privatized in 2003 by Belgrade-based company Omnistock.
