New "Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG" won the award not only because of its design, which is featured by gullwing doors that evoke the memory of legendary "Gullwing 300 SL" - a sports car from 1950, but also because of sophisticated technical innovations.

New "Gullwing" won the 18th Golden Steering Wheel award for "Mercedes-Benz", which is among the most successful automobile brands in this famous contest.
