"Ristić", new retail-service center for Mercedes and Chrysler vehicles, opened in Čačak - investment worth 4m EUR

Ivanjica-based company "Ristić", the authorized partner of companies "Mercedes-Benz", "Chrysler", "Jeep" and "Dodge", opened the new retail-service center yesterday (November 18, 2009) in Prislonica near Čačak, which is the largest investment in automotive industry in that region. Total of 4m EUR was invested in the facilities at 2,850 square meters, and the project was financed from the company's own funds and the funds approved by the banks and the Development Fund of Republic of Serbia, with the support of company "Mercedes-Benz SCG". In addition to the newly opened center near Čačak, "Ristić" also owns one such center in Prilike near Ivanjica.

"The state-of-the-arts automobile showroom for 'Mercedes-Benz', 'Chrysler', 'Jeep', 'Dodge' and 'Mitsubishi Canter' vehicles is built in an attractive location and equipped according to the highest standards. The service center is situated directly above the automobile showroom, and it comprises the reception department, workshops for overhaul of passenger and freight vehicles, as well as nicely organized bar where customers can spend time while their vehicles are being repaired", it is stated in the announcement by company "Mercedes Benz SCG".

The workshop for passenger vehicles has 8 car lifts (10 jobs) whose capacities range between 3,200 and 5,000 kg, a scissor lift for active reception and symmetrical analysis, as well as equipment for testing brakes and suspensions. The workshop for freight vehicles has three canals, two of which are intended for servicing and repairs, while the third is used for diagnostics because it is equipped with rollers for testing brakes, suspension testing instruments, instrument for marking tachograph, and the instrument for symmetrical analysis.

Service center in Prilike near Ivanjica

The facility in Prilike occupies the surface of 16,000 square meters and comprises 6 units at total surface of about 4,000 square meters. In addition to the workshop for repairing and servicing freight vehicles and transporters, which has three canals, there is also a tinsmith's workshop with all the necessary tools for overhaul of both steel and aluminum parts of vehicles. The workshop also includes a painting chamber 17 meters long where buses can be painted. The center is equipped with about 4,500 spare parts, and the parts are delivered on daily basis.

- The workshop in Prilike is specialized for overhaul of engines and transmissions, and it is equipped with large number of special tools. Installation of JOSAM equipment for testing all types of truck and bus frameworks is in progress, as well as installation of the cabin for lacquering passenger vehicles, preparation station and aluminum box (the department for repairing aluminum parts) - it is stated in the announcement by company "Mercedes Benz SCG".

Company "Ristić" from Ivanjica was founded as a transportation company in 1989. Its field of work was later expanded to include trade in oil derivatives, sale and servicing of motor vehicles, as well as production of superstructures for mini and midi buses (according to ECE standards).

The company is the general agent of German manufacturer of cooling and air-conditioning systems "Konvekta" for Serbia and Montenegro since 2000.

Since June 2003, "Ristić" operates within the "DaimlerChrysler" service network as an authorized service company, and it also became the authorized dealer of vehicles of makes "Mercedes-Benz", "Chrysler", "Jeep" and "Dodge" in May 2004.
