"Punto" for traders - "Zastava" announced production of new model of automobile with bigger trunk

- After the fire that broke out on November 14th in unit "Montaža", production of "punto", which was started on Sunday, is stable and the assembly-line production of this model in "van" variant will start soon - "Novosti" found out.
After the basic version of "punto" with the engines powered by gasoline, diesel and gas, people in the factory are ready to start the production of the new delivery vehicle in spite of the fact that the fire caught 700 square meters of unit "Montaža" last week.
According to the words of Zoran Radojević, the Director General of "Zastava Vozila" Group, because of the "hole" created by the fire in the section of the computerized assembly line between the lacquer shop and the production line, the workers will have to manually push automobile bodies on appropriate trailers until the next week.
