GSP Beograd seeking 10 mini-vans for rent and employing 110 drivers

The public transportation company GSP Beograd needs 10 yellow mini-vans with drivers. The company recently opened the public procurement procedure for the service of “renting vehicles with drivers” for a period of five years.

According to the documentation, the year of production of these mini-vans should be 2019. They need to be yellow, have 20 adjustable seats and a safety belt at three points, a Euro 6 engine, a manual transmission, a speed limiter, as well as a tachograph and a LED display informing the passengers of the line number.

The selected bidder will be obliged to provide a 24-hour service of roadside assistance and call-center throughout the year, support in the realization of the contracted services and a timely reporting on the receipt of traffic tickets.

By the city's decision, the vehicles used for the transport of children need to be painted yellow, which is why it is assumed that these vehicles will be used for that purpose, Novosti writes.

The daily also writes that GSP Beograd should employ around 110 new drivers by October. They are yet to go through the training, which is why a tender has opened for additional training of C-category drivers for obtaining D-category driving licenses.

The bid submission deadline is February 19.

The candidates which go through the training will sign temporary work contracts for a period of 24 months with GSP Beograd.
