Hotel Ritz-Carlton arriving to Belgrade?

There have been rumors for some time now that a new hotel might open in the capital of Serbia. The exact date is not yet known, but there are speculations that it might be a hotel with over 100 years of history behind it – the famous Ritz-Carlton.

This hotel giant would certainly make the hotel offer of Belgrade more complete, attract even more tourists and contribute to development of tourism in Serbia, says hotelmanager.rs.

Ritz-Carlton is known worldwide for its business philosophy and golden standards, which they are very proud of. There is no continent where they are not present, and what's even more impressive is that the number of hotels is growing year after year. At the moment, the opening of a new hotel in Mexico has been announced, whereas their most recently opened hotels are located in China, western Australia and India.

In the early 20th century, there were only a few hotels named Ritz-Carlton in America. Until 1940, aside from the one in Boston, these hotels were not offering the best quality of service. The hotel in Boston, however, provided top luxury service at the time, setting it apart from the others.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC was founded back in 1983. That's when their expansion began. In only two years, they opened five hotels. They didn't stop there. In 1992, they already had 23 hotels in their portfolio, when they won the first Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The next year, they opened their first hotel in Asia, the one in Hong Kong.

Their success did not go unnoticed and the brand was bought in 1998 by Marriott International. This further stimulated the development and secured the top quality of service. In addition to hotels, they started opening various resorts.

Their gold standards are based on their relation to the guests, who are always welcomed with a warm, sincere smile and addressed by name. There are no compromises. The whole system works under the slogan “I am Proud to be Ritz-Carlton.”

Although their hotels are among the most luxurious ones, their motto sets them apart, saying that they are made of flesh and blood too. It says “We are Ladies and Gentlemen Serving Ladies and Gentlemen.”

Let us remind that Ritz-Carlton is also arriving to Herceg Novi, with a luxury hotel to be built on Lustica. The opening is planned for 2023.
