Unsuccessful fourth tender for Chemical industry "Župa" in Kruševac

- Tender for Chemical industry "Župa" from Kruševac was unsuccessful because there were no interested buyers - the Privatization Agency of Serbia announced on December 4th, 2009.

According to the announcement, not even one bid for procurement of 70% of the only chlorine factory in Serbia had been submitted prior to November 13, which was the final deadline for submission of bids. The Agency reminded that the tender documentation had been purchased by two companies - German "AKB Fores" and Serbian "Plima M".

The fourth tender for sale of "Župa", which became the property of the Share Fund at the end of 2005, after its unsuccessful privatization was canceled, was announced in February.

"Župa" had about 560 workers at the end of September, while about 80 of them applied for the voluntary leave through social programme.
