"Electric Power Company of Serbia" and "Transnafta" presented their regional projects in Brussels
The representatives of "Electric Power Company of Serbia" (EPS) and "Transnafta" presented in Brussels the concrete regional projects that they plan to implement in the years to come, including Pan-European oil pipeline and construction of hydroelectric power plant on the Drina.
The projects of Serbian companies, which exceed regional importance because some European companies should participate in their implementation, were presented at panel discussion "Regional Networking within the Infrastructure Projects of the Western Balkans Countries" at International conference "New Era in the Balkans".
The series of international contracts that "Electric Power Company of Serbia" and other companies from the energy sector have signed with the institutions of EU and, thus, made certain progress when compared to the companies from the surrounding countries, were also presented in Brussels.
By the way, at the panel discussion, no other delegation from the region had the concrete projects of regional character, although all of them agreed that they were of exceptional significance to each of the countries and for the EU admission process.
The representatives of Serbia at the conference were the people from "East Point", "Delta Holding", EFT and some other companies, and all of them expressed optimism and willingness when it comes to regional networking.
The representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development told the countries of the region at the conference that that institution's priority would be to finance regional projects.
