I expect that the facility will be ready and equipped with fully new equipment in the early summer of 2021, said Marko Blagojevic, the director of the government's Public Investment Management Office, during his visit to the construction site of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Dedinje 2.

He reminded that the foundation stone for Dedinje 2 had been laid down in June 2019 and that the deadline for the completion of the works was two years.

– I have no reason to doubt that the job will be finished on time – Blagojevic said.

The deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, reminded that the construction of Dedinje 2 had been expected for decades and said that the works were going as planned, primarily thanks to the director of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Dedinje, Milovan Bojic, according to Vesic.

Bojic pointed out that the announced garage and heliport, making the hospital accessible by both land and air, would be built in close proximity to the building.

Let us remind that the new hospital will take up over 14,000 m2.

Dedinje 2, with its infrastructure and its access roads, will cost close to EUR 23 million.
