TGRS to open car steering wheel factory in Bela Palanka – Tender for reconstruction of future facility to open soon

The buildings of the former FEMID factory, owned by the local self-government, will be leased by the Municipality of Bela Palanka to the Austrian investor TGM Services, and the people of Bela Palanka have taken it upon themselves to repair the ruined facility.

The Austrian company headquartered in Schladming has founded a daughter company TGRS in Bela Palanka, and the facility will be provided for use for 3 years without a public auction, whereas the production of car steering wheels should start in June, according to the announcements.

The investor is obliged to employ 100 workers in the first phase, and the Municipality, as its president, Goran Miljkovic, says, has obliged to finish the reconstruction of the facility.

– The tender for the reconstruction of the facility will open by the end of this week. The realization of the agreement with the representatives of TGRS is a good reference for the arrival of new investors to Bela Palanka – Miljkovic said.

He added that the investment would be realized in two phases, with the second phase entailing the construction of a factory in the Industrial Zone Murica 1 and the employment of 250 new workers.
