Guide for investments in biogas facilities being prepared

The Biogas association is preparing a “Guide for Investors”, with the help of the Sector for Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and the support of its partner, the German biogas association Fachverband Biogas e.V.

The guide aims to help new investors and will contain all the necessary advice, guidelines and steps the investor needs to make, the association says on its website.

The guide will be based on the experiences of Biogas members who already have operating facilities and will point to potential mistakes and steps towards preventing them.

In addition to practical advice about the exact quantity of a given ingredient needed for the facility to run properly, how to pick the suitable technology and about the process of building and managing a facility, the guide will also define a proper way of analyzing one's own abilities and provide examples of the operations of power plants of various capacities.
