Construction works on Smokovac-Matesevo section to be over by end-September – Testing of installations to follow

All the construction works on the section between Smokovac and Matesevo on the Bar-Boljare highway section will be completed by the end of September, whereas the testing of the installations will take more time, said the construction supervisor, Vanja Ivanovic.

– The setting up of the so-called electro-mechanical installations, the highway equipment, is to follow, and all the construction works will be done by the end of September. As for the testing of the installations, I believe that it will take some time, as these are complex world-standard systems which should guarantee safety on the road – Ivanovic said on TV Crna Gora.

So far, as he explained, all the bridges have been completed, except for several span structures on the fourth section of the R1 bridge, due to the weather, the RTCG portal reports.
