The government announced that the Chinese-Israeli consortium complied with all the suggestions and recommendations the government had previously made.
– To us in the government this is acceptable, as guarantees have been provided for continued operations and employment of people and regular salary payments – said Jelka Milicevic, Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation and Finance Minister.
The Croatian National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on this occasion that a realistic and market-sustainable solution had been found and that it would prevent bankruptcy and recover Aluminij.
Within several months, it is added, 200 to 300 people will return to their jobs, which will additionally strengthen the trust in the planned recovery of Aluminij.
At the same time, Mostar-based daily Dnevni List reported a couple of days ago that Aluminij's GM was scheduled for April 6, 2020, with the agenda featuring “the reaching of the decision on the signing of the contract on business cooperation of Aluminij with Aluminij Industries Mostar”.
Aluminij Industries is a newly founded company which is to rent Aluminij's facilities.
The first offer was BAM 30,000 a year for the rent of Aluminij, but the offer was deemed insufficient by the shareholders.
