Why is the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade one of the best educational and scientific institutions and why are the engineers it educates the most demanded in the country and beyond? The new Sat Plus show on RTS and an exclusive report on the first Serbian 280-horsepower supercar “Raw” provide answers to those questions.

– This is the first true sportscar in Serbia. And not just that. This car, as said, will be able to homologize and register for road traffic. It was created by young experts from the Center for Motor Vehicles of the AMSS association. The team includes three engineers with a degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade – Trifun Milicevic, Rade Zecevic and Milan Caran – it is said on the website of the faculty.

The company's director, Milan Bozic, talked on Sat Plus about what had incited the Center for Motor Vehicles of AMSS to work on developing one such car. Mentioning that the center involves over a hundred engineers and 12 employees with science PhD degrees, he said that, technologically, the company was one of the strongest ones in the region and beyond.

– On the other hand, there's the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, which is one of the best scientific institutions in the country. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineers educates very good engineers, and we help as a company in formulating the final project. From a number of very good students, we pick the best engineers for ourselves – Bozic said.
