Sarajevo and other cities in B&H in the region could fight the spreading of coronavirus by installing so-called disinfection tunnels at the entrances to residential buildings, institutions, hospitals and all other facilities.

This solution is developed by the Sarajevo-based company Grizelj, and the idea is for the citizens to first go through the disinfection tunnel before entering or exiting a building (the tunnel resembles a plastic greenhouse). The disinfectant used is called Antivirin Plus and it applies to clothes and footwear as well.

– Grizelj can provide the equipment and Antivirun, and the decision where it could be installed is up to the crisis groups, which should also finance the purchase. The installation of a tunnel takes several hours – the director of Grizelj, Tomislav Grizelj, told eKapija.

The Sarajevo company produced Antivirin back in 2003. It is based on hydrogen-peroxide and silver ion and effectively attacks the corona-group viruses. That year, the Ministry of Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina authorized the marketing of the product.
